We had such a lovely experience! The matcha with mango base was super refreshing, and the almond-filled croissant was fresh, flaky, and delicious. The café has a beautiful, clean interior with a cozy, modern vibe. It’s also a great place to sit and get work done.quiet, spacious, and comfortable. Definitely one of my new favourite spots!

Truenote Specialty Cafe has a welcoming feel and feels like one of those little gems worth stopping in for. Their menu has a nice balance of classic drinks and creative seasonal options. The Spanish latte was smooth and not overly sweet, which we both loved, and the cappuccino was spot on. The pastries and snacks in the display case looked tempting, so next time I’ll definitely have to try one.

Second time visiting and this will definitely become my go-to spot! Love the variety of drinks they have, the biscoff chai latte and the banana drink off their special menu was really good! Great spot as it also has food options, their caprese sandwich was my fave! Everyone working here was also super helpful and kind

Been here once and look forward to coming again! They have unique drinks, and very well done coffee. I had some seasonal strawberry mocha type drink which was delicious. Their spanish latte is also flavourful. Overall, cute place.

Really cute spot with a great aesthetic, perfect for hanging out or catching up with friends. We ordered the chocolate brownie (super good), a matcha latte that was smooth and well balanced, and an iced vanilla latte. The iced vanilla latte was the only miss for us, it didn’t quite have the right balance of flavours. Overall, still a lovely café with a nice vibe, and I’d definitely come back to try more drinks and treats.

Really nice space! Yummy coffee(It’s on the pricier side). The chocolate chip cookie was pretty good. Tasted like they used oat flour so it had an oatmeal choco-chip vibe and had a good bite to it! The cornflake Bebo Bar is unreal (it’s why I went to try the cafe to begin with) Also I was surprised as it is a new build that the cafe doors were push to enter. Pretty sure fire code should have the doors be push to exit! Over all I would go back:)

Loved visiting Truenote Specialty Café in Whitby. The interior is absolutely beautiful, especially the galaxy ceiling and warm lighting. It feels calm and thoughtfully designed. I went on a Monday late afternoon and it was quiet and really relaxing. I also loved the Ramadan decorations and seasonal menu throughout the café. Such a nice touch. We tried the iced matcha latte, strawberry refresher, and banana bread, and everything was fresh and delicious. The matcha was good, the refresher was super refreshing, and the banana bread was soft and warm. Overall such a cozy spot with great drinks and a peaceful vibe. Definitely a must try café in Durham. I’ll be back.
